Sticky Toffee Pudding recipe
Our sticky toffee puddings have been a winner from the beginning and we are treating you with a recipe so you enjoy a delicious sticky toffee pudding in your own home.
For the sponge
- 760g plain flour
- 480g soft brown sugar
- 6 tsp baking powder
- 480ml milk
- 8 eggs
- 1/4 butter, melted
1/1 size 40mm deep stainless steel gastronorm
For the sauce
- 500g butter, melted
- 800g brown sugar
- a pint of cream
Firstly, Preheat the oven to 170°, grease your tin with butter and set aside.
Then all you have to do it after you have measured out all your ingredients, put them all in one bowl and mix together. Mix together until you have combined all the ingredients and you have a light brown mixture.
Now, carefully pour the mixture into your tin, spread out evenly. Once you have done this, you can place in the oven and cook for 30 minutes.
Whilst the sponge is in the oven, now you can make the sauce. Again, put all the mixture into a sauce pan, combine the mixture of a low heat and stir until a golden brown.
When the sponge in finished in the oven, leave to cool. Once cool, cut out personal preference sizes and pour the sauce over in the individual slices. You can reheat in the microwave if needed.
